In this guide we'll see how to go in PhoneSell Pro from the very beginning to your first installment sale and phone lock. The details of each step are also in the user guide inside the software.
Step 1: Open an account
Open an account on the registration page with your shop's and your own details. No card is needed to start — you begin with a free trial.
Step 2: Shop details and owner
When you log in for the first time, the setup wizard will ask for the shop's address, contact details and the owner's information. Also enter how much capital you're starting the shop with — this keeps the accounts correct from day one. If there are several partners, you can add them later in Owners & Capital.
Step 3: Cash, bank and bKash accounts
The shop's cash drawer is created automatically. If you have bank or bKash/Nagad accounts, add those too — you'll see a separate balance for each. (Accounting)
Step 4: Enter your stock
- Add your suppliers.
- Enter phones through a purchase entry — each phone with its IMEI. If you have a scanner, scan them.
- Enter accessories by quantity too.
Enter the stock you already have in the shop the same way. (Stock & IMEI)
Step 5: Your first cash sale
Open the POS, scan the IMEI, enter the price and payment method, and print the invoice. Stock and accounts update automatically. (POS)
Step 6: Your first installment (EMI) sale
- Add the customer — name, phone, NID, address and guarantor.
- In the POS, choose sale on installments.
- Enter the down payment (split between cash + bKash if needed).
- Enter the number of installments and the dates — the schedule is created automatically.
- Print the agreement and get it signed.
Details: Installment (EMI) feature.
Step 7: Set up the lock on the phone (QR)
- Turn on the new phone for the first time (or in a factory reset state).
- Tapping the welcome screen several times opens the QR scanner.
- Scan the QR from App Setup in the panel — the lock app will be installed.
- Keep the phone signed in with the shop's Gmail (for FRP).
Why the Gmail is needed: FRP lock guide. How the lock works: a simple explanation.
Step 8: Collecting installments
The customer can pay installments by coming to the shop or through bKash/Nagad from the customer app. If they're late, the phone locks itself, and unlocks once the money is paid. Check the dues list and the defaulter report to see who you need to follow up with.
Step 9: Add staff
Give staff their own login, with permission only for their own work. (Staff)
Step 10: Cash close at the end of the day, reports at the end of the month
Reconcile the cash every day; check the Profit & Loss at the end of the month. Which report to check when: Cash flow guide.
