In a mobile shop, just writing “Samsung A15 — 10 pcs” isn't enough. Because every phone is different.
What happens without IMEI
- You can't tell which phone was sold — trouble when a warranty claim comes in.
- If the same model was bought at different prices, you can't work out the real profit.
- If a phone goes missing or gets swapped, it's hard to catch.
- The risk of unknowingly buying a stolen phone.
What you get by keeping IMEI
- Each phone's purchase price, supplier, selling price and profit kept separately.
- At the time of sale, just scan and the right phone goes on the bill.
- The phone's full history for warranty and servicing.
- Stay alert by putting suspicious IMEIs on a blacklist.
The easy way
Scan the IMEI into stock when you buy, and scan it again when you sell. With a barcode scanner it takes a second.
